Welcome to Agility Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

All must attend an orientation and at least one Agility Level 1 class. No exceptions.

Agility Level 1 – Pre-Agility Floor Work

Prerequisite: Orientation only. The following is what will be covered in Agility Level 1:

  • Nose Touch
  • Go to crate from 5 ft.
  • Stay in crate happily and quietly
  • Front Cross
  • Sit
  • Down
  • Stay to 4 ft.
  • Release cue proficiency
  • Play/play tug

These will also be the requirements for advancing to Agility Level 2.
Advancement to Agility Level 2 by instructor evaluation and invitation only.

Agility Level 2 – Intro to Equipment

Prerequisite: all Agility Level 1 skills

  • Familiarization of Agility equipment
  • Stronger more advanced Level 1 skills
  • Independent obstacle performance (not including weaves)
  • Obstacle entries and exits to and from crosses and start-line stays

These will also be the requirements for advancing to Agility Level 3.

Advancement to Agility Level 3 by instructor evaluation and invitation only.

Agility Level 3 – Intro to Sequencing

Prerequisite: all Agility Level 2 skills

  • Rear Crosses
  • Blind Crosses
  • Course analysis including reading course maps
  • Sequencing up to 5 obstacle
  • Introduction to 2X2 Weaves up to 6 poles
  • Increased speed to obstacle entries and exits

These will also be the requirements for advancing to Agility Level 4.

Advancement to Agility Level 4 by instructor evaluation and invitation only.

Agility Level 4 – Advanced Beginners

Prerequisite: all Agility Level 3 skills

  • Weaves up to 12 poles
  •  15 ft. + lead offs
  • Advanced course analysis
  • Sequencing 10+ obstacles
  • Advanced Rear Crosses
  • Advanced Blind Crosses
  • Increased speed and combination performance

These will also be the requirements for advancing to Agility Level 5.

Advancement to Agility Level 5 by instructor evaluation and invitation only.

Agility Level 5 – Competition Prep

Prerequisite: all Agility Level 4 skills

  • Increased speed and entry difficulty on weaves
  • Advanced course analysis
  • Running full courses
  • Preparation for competition
  • Increased speed and combination performance
